In a recent interview, the actress opened up about her plans post exit from the top-rated Star Plus show and reveled that she wishes to play a mawaali onscreen. Yes, you read that right!

Talking about it, Ayesha Singh told Tellymasala, "I think mai kuch Dabangg kind of a role karna chahungi. Like you know, rowdy, you know, a mixture of badtameez, you know woh hote hai na log jo sahi hote hai, outspoken, they're like very practical, very old, they're like haa theek hai. They're like haa theek hai and uski bhi ek journey. Mawaali kind of, that kind of a character. I think bohot interesting hoga karne ke liye kuch mawaali types."

Revealing the reason, she added, "Kyunki, you know, bohot saari apprehensions hoti hai ki class, tabka, caste, ye logon ko sahi galat mei divide karta hai, which is wrong because you know, money doesn't give you wisdom. Education gives you wisdom, your journey gives you wisdom, the kind of a person you are, upbringing gives you wisdom. Kabhi aisa hota hai, kabhi nahi hota. Toh ek mawaali bhi suljhi hui baat kar sakte hai ya karte hai. But ek apprehension hota hai, mindset hota hai. Woh change karne ka mauka mile, kuch difference karne ka mauka mile toh karna chahungi."
