Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin Update: Produced by Cockrow Entertainment and Shaika Films, the Star Plus show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin has been entertaining viewers since its premiere in 2020. As the top-rated show took a generation leap earlier this year after which Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma replaced Neil Bhatt and Ayesha Singh as the main protagonists.

While most of the old cast members moved out of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin due to the leap, Kishori Shahane aka Kaku continued to play the pivotal role. However, in the recent episodes, Kaku is not much seen in the much-loved Star Plus show. Also, the senior actress has also bagged a pivotal role in the recently-launched ZEE TV show Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye featuring Sriti Jha and Arjit Taneja in the lead roles.

Amid all this, there are speculations that Kishori Shahane might have quit Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin due to Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye. In a recent interview, she finally opened up about the same and dismissed the ongoing rumors. Revealing the same, Kishori Shahane told Pinkvilla, "No, I am not quitting Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. I am only required for a few days for the show and thus I decided to take up another show titled Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye."

Sharing details about her role in Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye, the actress added, "There are similarities as well as differences in both the characters. Talking about similarities, both the characters are the heads of the families and are authoritative. One striking similarity is that in both shows, I'm mother (or mother-like) to the character named Virat. Ironically, Arjit Taneja plays Virat in the show while Neil Bhatt also played the character with the same name."

While Kaku in GHKKPM is an orthodox Maharashtrian, her character in the ZEE TV show has a modern touch.
