ABOUT VAISHNAVI DHANRAJ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE CONTROVERSY

Just hours ago, Vaishnavi took to her Instagram stories to reach out for 'help' from her fans and followers. According to her close friend K Himaanshu Shuklaa on Twitter, she was reportedly held hostage by her family. He also posted a video in which the actress is seen pleading for help.

In the video, Vaishnavi informed viewers that she was at the Kashimira (Mira Road) police station, stating, "Hi, this is Vaishnavi Dhanraj. I really need help right now. I'm in Kashimira police station and I've been abused by my family and I'm hit very badly. Please I need help from everybody from the media, news channels, and everybody in the industry. Please come and help me."

Vaishnavi Dhanraj's video displays visible injury marks on her face and body, including a bruised lip and an injury on her right hand's wrist.

VAISHNAVI DHANRAJ MARRIAGE AND DIVORCE REASON

Having been married to actor Nitin Sherawat in 2012, Vaishnavi had revealed in several interviews that she divorced Nitin in 2016 due to repeated incidents of domestic violence. She mentioned attempting to save the marriage by seeking professional help for Nitin, but the efforts were unsuccessful.

Vaishnavi has been a part of numerous television shows that brought her recognition, including Navrangi Re and Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha among others.
