Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai turned out to be the perfect launch pad for Hina Khan and Karan Mehra. After the duo quit the show, Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi took over the mantle of the daily soap, winning hearts as Kartik and Naira respectively. Their sizzling chemistry grabbed several eyeballs for the hit drama, securing huge TRPs.

Although Shivangi Joshi is no longer a part of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, she surprised the cast and crew by visiting the sets during the Iftaar celebrations. The actress, who played the role of Naira for five years, interacted with the arists as she made her return to the set of the same show which made her a household name.

Every year Rajan Shahi's Director Kuts Production hosts Iftaar party on the set and 2023 was no different. He invited the entire team of his shows like YRKKH, Anupamaa and Woh Toh Hai Albelaa.

Can you guess what happened when Shivangi Joshi met her on-screen 'damaad' Harshad Chopda during the Iftaar celebrations? The duo had a blast as they enjoyed the celebrations at DKP set.

When a journalist praised Shivangi and said, "Ma'am, you are looking too beautiful", she blushed. Harshad was quick enough to thank the journalist, stating that he would say thanks on her behalf.

"Main uski taraf se thank you bol deta hu. I think she is taken aback by the question," Harshad told the media.

WHAT'S NEXT FOR SHIVANGI JOSHI?

On the professional front, Shivangi was last seen in a cameo role in Bekaboo, which aired on Colors channel. The fantasy show starring Shalin Bhanot and Eisha Singh premiered last month. The Balika Vadhu 2 actress played the role of a Pari while Zain Imam was seen in a special appearance in the weekend drama.

Shivangi is now gearing up for the shoot of Sony TV's next show that will be produced by Ekta Kapoor. She will be paired opposite Kushal Tandon, who makes his return to the small screen after six years.

"Shivangi fits the bill perfectly for the role of a journalist. She is one of the most popular actresses on television, and we believe that she is the right person for the character that we have envisioned. Ekta Kapoor ma'am liked her cameo in Bekaboo, which she launched under her home production house," a source exclusively told Filmibeat.

Talking about Harshad, he is currently entertaining the viewers as Abhimanyu in YRKKH. He and Pranali Rathod have made waves with their scorching on-screen romance.
