Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum: Tina Datta Reveals Her Mother’s Reaction To Her New Show & It’s Too Cute To Miss

Tina Datta is ruling the television screens with her new show Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum and her fans can't keep calm about it. Also starring Jay Bhanushali and Kitu Gidwani in the lead, Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum happens to be a romance drama and has managed to create a substantial buzz in the town.

To note, Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum marks Tina and Jay's first show together and fans have been in awe of their onscreen chemistry as Surili and Shivendra. In fact, the show has opened to rave reviews from the audience. And while Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum continues to create a buzz in the town, Tina has now revealed her mother Madhurima Datta's reaction to her show and it is too cute to miss. During an interactive session on the micro-blogging site Twitter, when a fan asked about her mother's reaction, Tina revealed, "She loves Surili more than me".

Earlier, talking bout her character, Tina said that girls would be able to relate to Surili who is independent and runs a cafe. "She doesn't have time for love. Even in real life, Tina doesn't have time for love. So she (Surili) is also like 'I don't have time for a prince charming to sweep me off my feet and go on dates. Rather, I would look after my finances, dreams, EMIs, parents and everything'. So, that is a thing that a lot of girls will relate to," the Uttaran actress was quoted saying in an interview.

Interestingly, Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum is also being compared with Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan's Khoobsurat. However, Tina rubbished the news and clarified that Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum is no where close to the movie's storyline. She also claimed that her show is based on a true story. For the uninitiated, Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum is an adaptation of the İstanbullu Gelin, known as Bride of Istanbul which happens to be a popular Turkish series.
