Karan Vohra News: Produced by Gul Khan under 4 Lions Films, Imlie is among the most loved shows on the small screen currently. The show premiered on Star Plus in 2020 with Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Gashmeer Mahajani in the lead roles and was an instant hit among viewers.

Later Fahmaan Khan entered as the new lead, Aryan Singh Rathore, opposite Sumbul and fans loved their onscreen chemistry in Imlie. However, the duo left the show last year after the makers decided to introduce a generation leap leaving AryLie fans sad.

After the generation leap, Krishna Chali London duo Megha Chakraborty and Karan Vohra entered the popular shows as Imlie and Atharva respectively. While the loyal viewers of Imlie weren't too kicked about the leap, the new lead stars have finally made a mark for themselves and are doing well.

While Karan is elated with the response to his character and the show, he was under a lot of pressure initially. In a recent interview, the actor opened up about replacing Fahmaan and Sumbul after the generation leap in Imlie and revealed that he was anxious.

Talking about the pressure of recreating Sumbul and Fahmaan's magic, Karan told ETimes, "It's natural to feel that way and I, too, was anxious. Sumbul and Fahmaan set a benchmark and I had to push the envelope and take the show a notch higher. We have seen several shows featuring big actors failing to make a mark and wrapping up in two months. Given the scenario, it is better to take up an ongoing show."

FANS MISS SEEING SUMBUL TOUQEER AND FAHMAAN KHAN TOGETHER

Well, Karan and Megha are indeed doing well and fans are loving their chemistry too. However, SuMaan fans still miss seeing them together in Imlie.

While Sumbul and Fahmaan were later seen briefly together in Colors TV's Bigg Boss 16, it wasn't enough for their shippers and they're eagerly awaiting for their reunion. However, there's been no update on their collaboration yet as Fahmaan is busy with Dharampatnii while Sumbul is yet to announce her next project.
