Independence Day 2023: TV star Pratik Sehajpal has been part of some of the most amazing TV shows in India, such as Bigg Boss 15 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 12, and because of this, he has become a household name. The actor's last appearance on Ekta Kapoor's hit show, Naagin 6 alongside Tejasswi Prakash, as the main lead Rudra Raichand, gained him an immense fan following.

Now, the actor will soon be seen with Tamannaah Bhatia in a web show Aakhri Sach, produced by Neeti-Preeti Simoes. As the whole nation is celebrating Independence Day today, Pratik Sehajpal shares his plans for the day and his school memories.

PRATIK SEHAJPAL SHARES INDEPENDENCE DAY PLANS

Sharing his plans for this Independence Day, Pratik says, "I may spend time and go out for lunch or dinner with family. We will pray for all the things we have which I always do. We will salute our freedom fighters. We will pray that the police and army stay healthy. I would thank every person in the system who is doing their job so well." Recollecting his Independence Day celebration during his school days, he says, "We use to hoist flags and flowers use to fall from that flag. A chief guest used to visit our school and students use to dance, sing and do March past. It use to be so much fun."

Discussing how he looks up to Independence Day, he says, "There is no point in doing anything If you only do it on 15 August and the rest of the year you don't do anything. Any time of the year, if you feel to do anything or to take a stand for anyone you must. Even I do this thing if I have to take a stand against the wrong. There is nothing wrong to celebrate this day as a holiday as people work hard every day so they must spend time with their loved ones. But they should also show gratitude towards the freedom fighters."

Showing his gratitude towards the freedom fighters, he says, "We should be thankful for the freedom fighter because of them we are living a life with freedom. I look up to all the freedom fighters. Even today so many people are doing big things like A. P.J. Abdul Kalam, who is a very great personality. He has done so much for our country. There are so many ministers, soldiers, IAS officers, and police officers who are no less than any freedom fighter."
