Indian Idol 14 first episode: it's difficult to keep calm as Indian Idol 2023 has premiered with a blockbuster episode on Saturday (October 7). The show has been making waves ever since the channel released the first promo of Indian Idol season 14. The new theme of the season is 'Ek awaz lakhon ehsaas' and it promises to bring freshness and newer talent on the stage.

INDIAN IDOL 14 JUDGES NAME

The Indian Idol 14 judges panel has changed and Shreya Ghoshal and Kumar Sanu has joined Vishal Dadlani. The trio will be judging the singing-based reality show, taking the most soulful singers to the next stage of the show. Making a comeback to the hit show, Shreya Ghoshal expressed her excitement and said that she is looking forward to grooming the raw talent.

"Since its inception, Indian Idol has been synonymous with discovering and nurturing exceptional singing talent. My connection with this show is deep-rooted, both personally and emotionally. With Season 14, the thought of "Ek Awaaz, Laakhon Ehsaas" beautifully captures the essence of a single voice that holds the remarkable power to bring alive a multitude of emotions in the heart of the viewers. I am looking forward to grooming the raw talent of the aspiring singers who will grace the stage in this edition of the show," she said in a statement.

INDIAN IDOL 14 TOP 15 CONTESTANTS NAME

According to the promo released by Sony Entertainment Television, Adya Mishra, Mismi Bose, Vaibhav Gupta, Anjana Padmanabhan, Subhadeep Das, Dhroon Tickoo and Muskab Srivastava are expected to be Indian Idol 2023 top 15 contestants.

The promos featuring Adya and Mismi have already captured the attention of the netizens. The promos of the audition round have ensured that people talk about the Indian Idol 2023. Subhadeep crooned a rendition of 'Ami Je Tomar' (from Karthik Aaryan-Kiara Advani starrer 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2') while Adya Mishra sang 'Namak Ishq Ka' (from Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor starrer 'Omkara').

Vaibhav Gupta managed to win hearts as he delivered a rocking performance on 'Humka Peeni Hai' (from Salman Khan's Dabangg). In the new season, the show will put the spotlight on a diverse talent pool, celebrating music and honouring talent on its platform.

Indian Idol 14 will air on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on Sony Entertainment Television at 8pm. The show replaced India's Best Dancer 3.
