Anupamaa update: Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna's show has been hogging all the attention on social media, courtesy of the entertaining episodes. The daily soap has managed to create ripples on the internet, topping the TRP charts since its inception. While several shows have failed to impress the audience, Anupamaa has been successful in retaining its viewership.

FAHMAAN KHAN ON ANUPAMAA-DHARAMPATNII CLASH

Many channels including Zee TV, Colors TV and Sony TV had to axe their shows at the 10pm slot as they couldn't perform as per expectations. Barring Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 16, none of the shows could cross the 2 TVR mark while competing with Anupamaa.

Fahmaan Khan starrer Pyaar Ke Saath Vachan-DharamPatnii, which earlier aired at 8pm, got a new ray of hope when Colors channel gave an extension to the production house. The daily soap was supposed to go off air but the higher ups decided to extend it and shift the show to 10pm slot.

The actor, who has remained in headlines because of his fallout with Imlie co-star Sumbul Touqeer, shared his thoughts about the competition. He revealed what he told the production house, creative team and crew members of DharamPatnii about clash with Anupamaa.

"Dekho ye dusri zindagi hai, it's the second life to the show. Jaise wo Nawaz (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) sahab ne kaha tha ki 'Maut ko choo ke thak se wapas aa gaye.' Toh waisa wala situation hai, I'm really glad it has happened. And, I'm looking forward kyunki hum log bohot mehnat kar rahe hai hum dobara. Kyunki agar ko extension mila hai toh double mehnat karni padegi. Iss waqt humei 10 O'clock ka slot mila hai toh Anupamaa ke against hai hum and it's a big thing. Bohot badi cheez hai. Toh maine apne makers se, jo apne creatives hai, unn sab se yahi baat ki that now we've to be double cautious. You know, pull up our socks and do well. Toh, let's see, looking forward to it," Fahmaan Khan was quoted as saying by Telly Masala in an interview after he won the Best Actor award at Star Eminence Awards 2023.
