Ankit Gupta, who became a household name with his stint in Bigg Boss 16, has been making headlines with his ongoing show Junooniyatt. Also starring Gautam Vig and Neha Rana, the Junooniyatt is produced by Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta and happens to be a musical drama.

For the uninitiated, Ankit Gupta plays the role of Jahaan in the show while Gautam and Neha are seen as Jordan and Elahi. Junooniyatt has been witnessing a love triangle and fans have been in awe of Ankit's chemistry with Elahi. Clearly, the Udaariyaan star has managed to leave a mark with his role as a guy next door musician.

And now, the handsome hunk has shared an interesting update about the upcoming track in Junooniyatt for his character Jahaan and said that Jahaan is set to become a rockstar and will be having musical tours across the country. The former Bigg Boss 16 contestant also stated that he is quite excited about the new plot update in Junooniyatt. Talking to Telly Chakkar, Ankit said, "I want to explore which I have not done before, So for Jahan, there will be a track wherein Jahan becomes a rock star. And in the end, he comes back to India and he has a tour of seven cities. So I'm going to explore that. I'm very much looking forward to that. Rock star, full stage, huge audience, and performing. I'm very much looking forward to that".

To note, Junooniyatt marks Ankit's first collaboration with his Bigg Boss 16 co-contestant Gautam Vig. Meanwhile, Neha stated that she was quite nervous about sharing the screen with Ankit and Gautam in Junooniyatt as the two became quite famous post Bigg Boss 16. However, the actress also claimed that her experience with them has been great and that is overwhelmed with the love coming her way for her performance as Elahi.
