For the first time ever in the last twenty years, a leading GEC experimented with one-hour episodes for three days on a prime time slot. While the gamble might not have worked as per expectations, Karan Kundrra and Gashmeer Mahajani received praise for their performance in the show.

We earlier shared an exclusive update about the fate of the show with our readers. "Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal was always supposed to be a finite series with 52 episodes. It was earlier meant to be a weekend show; however, the channel decided to experiment with one-hour episode for three days a week," a source exclusively told Filmibeat.

"The gamble didn't quite work but the show remained in buzz. If it had performed better, it would definitely get an extension. Overall, the makers are happy with the product as they competed with top-rated daily soaps in the competitive 9pm slot," the source added.

KARAN KUNDRRA CO-STAR PRAISES HIM

While the show might be going off air, Karan Kundrra and the entire team is pumped up to shoot the remaining episodes. An actress, who recently joined the supernatural drama, recently praised the Bigg Boss 15 star.

We are talking about Nancy Marwah. The actress, who plays a powerful yogini in Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, expressed her joy over working with Karan.

Praising him, she said, "I feel elated working with Karan Kundrra and others. He is a sweetheart to work him."

KARAN KUNDRRA TO TAKE A BREAK FROM WORK

After wrapping up the shoot of Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, Karan Kundrra is expected to take a small break from work. Is TejRan wedding on the cards? Well, a reliable source quipped, "No, not at the moment but yes, Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundrra have plans to take their relationship to the next level in the near future."
