Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal 2: Karan Kundrra's Show To Get Season Two? Co-star Says 'Let Us...'
Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal off air: All good things have to end someday, isn't it? Karan Kundrra, Gashmeer Mahajani and Reem Shaikh's show will bid adieu to the viewers next month. Considering it was a finite series, the makers are ending it on a high note.
NEW ENTRY IN TERE ISHQ MEIN GHAYAL
Filmibeat had earlier informed you about the new entry in Karan Kundrra's show. The creative team has planned a grand sequence to entertain the audience.
A source earlier exclusively told Filmibeat, "The makers have planned a blockbuster twist in Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal. Before the finale episode, they have approached a well-known name to play a cameo in the show. Manraj Singh Sarma, who was last seen in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, will soon enter TIMG, if things go as planned. His entry is enough to spice up things in the show."
TERE ISHQ MEIN GHAYAL FINALE: WHY SHOW IS ENDING
The supernatural show couldn't strike a chord with the audience despite the initial buzz. While it performed well on VOOT, ultimately the TRPs matter and hence, the channel didn't give the show an extension.
Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal will shut shop along with Fahmaan Khan and Kritika Singh Yadav starrer DharamPatnii. The makers are yet to shoot for the finale episode.
"Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal was always supposed to be a finite series with 52 episodes. It was earlier meant to be a weekend show; however, the channel decided to experiment with one-hour episode for three days a week," our khabri stated.
"The gamble didn't quite work but the show remained in buzz. If it had performed better, it would definitely get an extension. Overall, the makers are happy with the product as they competed with top-rated daily soaps in the competitive 9pm slot," the source added.
Neerja, which is the next big launch on Colors channel, will replace Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal at 9pm.

While the show is ending soon, the fans have already demanded for a second season. Is a new season on the cards? Karan Kundrra's co-star Reem Shaikh, while interacting with a portal, expressed her desire to work in the second installment of the show.
"Let us just hope and pray for a season 2," Reem Shaikh told India Forums.
