Aditi Sharma Shares BIG Update About Katha Ankahee Last Episode, Reveals Plans Post Wrap Up

Katha Ankahee off air date: Adnan Khan and Aditi Dev Sharma have managed to impress the audience with their power-packed performances in Kathaa Ankahee. The show, which was launched in 2022, has been churning out drama-packed episodes since its inception. The romantic drama has been successful in striking a chord with the viewers. The Sony Entertainment Television daily soap has remained in the headlines ever since the rumours about the closure surfaced on the internet.

IS KATHA ANKAHEE GOING OFF AIR?

Gossip mills suggested that Katha Ankahee would go off air next month. The channel and the production house remained tight-lipped about the development, leaving the fans shocked. After several weeks of speculations, it was confirmed that the show would end with a finale episode.

If the recent buzz is to be believed, the time slot change was the final nail in the coffin. Kathaa Ankahee was shifted to the 7pm slot to make way for Dabangii last month. The channel took the call to end the show despite the popularity of the leads among the masses. Interestingly, Katha Ankahee was performing at par with Barsatein Mausam Pyaar Ka, Kavya Ek Jazbaa Ek Junoon and the news about the show facing an axe surprised the audience.

KATHA ANKAHEE LAST EPISODE: ADITI SHARMA SHARES PLAN

Aditi Sharma broke her silence over the show ending next month. She confirmed that the last episode of Katha Ankahee would air on December 1, 2023. Sharing her experience about working for the show, she stated that she had a blast.

Calling it a 'great journey', she said that she thoroughly enjoyed shooting for the daily soap. The Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka actress said that she wants to focus on spending time with her husband and son after wrapping up the shoot. She said that she has plans to take rest, travel and spend enough time with her hubby and son.

"My son was missing my presence at home and I plan to be with him," Aditi told Times Of India. She described her journey as a 'learning experience', stating that she waits for such roles.

Katha Ankahee will end four days before completing one year on the small screen. It hit the airwaves on December 5, 2022.
