Katha Ankahee Off-Air News: Aditi Sharma and Adnan Khan are among the most-loved stars on the small screen currently. While Aditi made her debut in 2004 with ZEE TV's India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj, Adnan's television journey commenced in 2014 when he appeared on Star Plus' Arjun. Over the years, both actors have captured the hearts of numerous viewers.

After achieving success in various popular shows throughout their careers, this dynamic duo finally joined forces for the Sony TV series Katha Ankahee, produced by Sphere Origins. This show serves as the official Hindi adaptation of the Turkish series One Thousand and One Nights, drawing inspiration from the timeless tales of Arabian Nights.

KATHA ANKAHEE TO TAKE A LEAP SOON?

In Katha Ankahee, Aditi Sharma takes on the lead role as Katha Singh, a determined single mother who confronts her most formidable challenge when her son, Aarav, is diagnosed with a severe form of blood cancer. Battling to cope with the extensive medical expenses and receiving no assistance from her in-laws, Katha finds herself at a critical crossroads.

On the other hand, Adnan Khan portrays Viaan Raghuvanshi, a successful architect burdened by the emotional scars inflicted by his father's abandonment of his mother, Teji, in favor of another woman. This traumatic experience has left Viaan deeply wounded emotionally, leading him to adopt a cynical perspective on women, perceiving them all as opportunistic.

WILL KATHA ANKAHEE GO OFF-AIR?

The show premiered on Sony TV in December last year and is getting a huge amount of love from its loyal fanbase. Several recent reports suggest that Katha Ankahee is set to take a big leap in December this year and Aditi Sharma even confirmed it. However, the latest rumours have left the show's fans shocked.

Reportedly, the channel has decided to end Katha Ankahee. Yes, you read that right! According to a Tellychakkar report, Sony TV's upcoming show Dabangii is likely to replace Adnan Khan and Aditi Sharma's show at the timeslot of 8.30 pm. However, it is not yet confirmed and an official announcement regarding the same is still awaited.

Meanwhile, the production of Dabangii is under the guidance of Invictus Media, led by Herumb Khot and Nilanjana Purkayasstha.
