Kavya Ek Jazba Ek Junoon’s Sumbul Reveals Her Father’s Special Reaction To Promo: Papa Ne Dekh Ke Mujhe….

Sumbul Touqeer Khan's new show Kavya Ek Jazba Ek Junoon on Sony TV is all over the headlines for all the right reasons. This new show features Sumbul in the role of an IAS officer and the promo has left the audience quite intrigued. After all, Kavya Ek Jazba Ek Junoon marks Sumbul's first project post her stint in Bigg Boss 16.

The upcoming family drama features Sumbul in a strong role opposite Mishkat Varma and the promos have already opened to a rave response. And while the Imlie actress is over the moon with the love coming her way with the promos, she was recently quizzed about her father Touqeer Hassan Khan's reaction to the promo.

This happened during her recent interaction with the TV Times and said that her father was overwhelmed after watching the promo of Kavya Ek Jazba Ek Junoon. "Papa ne promo dekh ke mujhe tight se hug kia and kaha 'Beta! bahut acha tha'. Aur main aisi thi ki chalo mujhe bhi satisfaction feel hota hai roz jab main ghar jati hu ki I know ki main bahut achi story pe kaam kar rahi hu".

Sumbul also admitted that she had really loved the script when the show was offered to her and was keen to do it. Sumbul was also seen praising her co-star Mishkat with whom she will be sharing the screen for the first time in the show. The actress recalled how she met Mishkat during the mock tests and broke the ice on the sets. The two are often seen giving a glimpse of the quirky chemistry from the sets.

Earlier, Mishkat shared Sumbul's first impression on him and stated that she is easy to work with. "Sumbul ka I knew usne dusre channel me show kiya tha and I was aware ki usne kya kaam kia tha. I was also aware ki wo ek achi actress hai lekin jab main usse mila she was very easy to work with, easy to talk to, no airs about herself and so far humne 2-3 din hi saath me kaam kiya hai lekin bahut hi smooth and pleasant experience raha hai," Mishkat told Telly Talk India
