While she played a village belle in Imlie, Sumbul Touqeer Khan will be seen as an IAS office in Kavya. The daily soap will showcase the story of a civil servant, who strikes a balance between her married and professional life. It will be the next big launch on Sony Entertainment Television after Kaun Banega Crorepati 15.

It is the next big launch on Sony TV after KBC 15 and Barsatein Mausam Pyaar Ka. The leading GEC has placed its bet on a show that promises to share an important message in the society."

Kavya will replace Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum from September 25 at 7:30pm slot.

The cast and crew jetted off to Lucknow to shoot special sequences in the city of Nawabs. As the show is set against the backdrop of Lucknow, Sumbul, Mishkat and others have filmed important scenes in the UP capital.

Before the grand launch, a picture from the set is going viral on social media. Sumbul and Mishkat can be seen posing with other actors in the photo that was clicked on the set. The snap created anticipation among the audience, grabbing eyeballs on the internet.

Kavya will compete with Pandya Store, Parineetii and Shiv Shakti-Pyaar Ka Phela Adhyay at 7:30pm slot.
