Sumbul Touqeer Khan has been all over the news these days courtesy of her new show Kavya - Ek Jazba Ek Junoon. As fans have been eagerly waiting for her new show post her impressive stint in Bigg Boss 16, their wait is finally over. Interestingly, the makers have finally unveiled an interesting promo of the show.

For the uninitiated, Sumbul will be seen playing the role of an IAS officer in the show and her first look and the promo has got the fans quite excited. Needless to say, fans are looking forward to seeing Sumbul in a new avatar on screen.

And now, post the promo launch and the amazing response to the promo, Sumbul has now shared an important update about Kavya - Ek Jazba Ek Junoon which will add to your excitement. Taking to her Instagram story, Sumbul has shared her first pic from the sets of the new show as she shared that she has begun shooting for the show.

In the mirror selfie, Sumbul was seen dressed in a trendy white shirt with a multi-colour print on the sleeves which she had paired with denims. She had her make up game on point and had a roller fixed in her hair. She had captioned it as, "Day 1 Bismillah #Kavya".

Interestingly, Mishkat Varma has been roped in to play the lead role in the show. "Mishkat, known for his work in shows like Aur Pyaar Hogya and Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, has signed the dotted lines for Kavya- Ek Jazba Ek Junoon. He perfectly fits the bill as we are confident that he will look amazing with Sumbul Touqeer. The screen test was enough to make us believe that we have a perfect jodi for the show," a source had reportedly told Filmibeat.

Meanwhile, talking about the launch date about Kavya - Ek Jazba Ek Junoon, it is reported that the show will be replacing the much talked about Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3 starring Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar. The family drama is reportedly going off air in August and looks Sumbul's show will go on air next month.
