The narrative is about the complexities encountered by the woman in their relationship after tying the knot, emphasizing the societal expectations that place her partner's requirements ahead of her personal and professional aspirations.

While Sumbul essays the titular role of Kavya, Nisha Aur Uske Cousins fame Mishkat Varma has been roped in for the male lead's part opposite her.

MISHKAT VARMA REVEALS SUMBUL TOUQEER'S ANNOYING HABIT

Ahead of the show's launch, Mishkat Varma opened up about working with Sumbul for the first time and revealed an annoying habit of hers. Sharing the same with ETimes, the actor stated, "Sumbul ki ek khaasiyat hai, agar use koi story narrate karna hai, agar story A se shuru hoti hai, wo Z tak leke jaa ke hi khatam karti hai story ko. Bohot bolti hai, thoda short mei bola kar story. But, that's sweet."

Well, not just onscreen, the duo also shares a cute equation in real too and their fans are already in love with their chemistry. So far, the makers of Kavya haven't yet revealed the premiere date and time slot.
