Shubham works as a project leader for a private telecom company. From climbing electric towers and fixing them to balancing his studies, he has maintained a fine balance between his work and dreams. He had to work hard because of his financial issues but he chose to continue his pursuit for becoming a deputy collector.

Last week, Jaskaran Singh registered his name in record books as he became the first crorepati of the season. He walked away with Rs 1 crore and a Hyundai car after becoming a millionaire on the show, which airs on Sony Entertainment Television.

In the previous episode, Shubham was able to answer the question that was related to late lyricist Sahir Ludhianvi. Amitabh Bachchan asked about the lyricist's pen name's meaning. The question read, "In Sahir Ludhianvai's pen name, if Ludhianvi means that he is from Ludhiana, what does Sahir mean?

The options were as follows

Shubham used two lifelines to answer the question. The correct answer was option B- Magician.

SHUBHAM GANGRADE FAILS TO ANSWER RS 1 CRORE QUESTION

Shubham, who made his parents and family members proud by earning Rs 50 lakh, attempted the Rs 1 crore question. As he was not able to answer the question and had doubts, he quit the game and took home Rs 50 lakh. Although he couldn't become a 'crorepati' (millionaire), the Indore boy was able to take a hefty amount after participating in Kaun Banega Crorepati season 15.
