Khatron Ke Khiladi 13’s Anjum Fakih Reveals How She Celebrated Eid; Gets Candid About Favourite Delicacies

Anjum Fakih is known for giving her 'lock stock and barrel' to each character she portrays and also for how animated she is in her roles. The talented actress can be currently seen playing two starkly different characters in two hugely popular daily soaps, Kundali Bhagya and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2. She's one of the most loved actresses of recent times and has made a name for herself in the industry with her impeccable acting.

As the actress morally belongs to an Islamic family, recently she celebrated Eid full of happiness and joy and talking about it she shared everything about her celebration and all the things she did and enjoyed.

Talking about the Eid celebrations, Anjum says, "Eid preparations start a week prior always in my house and be it deciding the decor of the entire house or which biryani and delicacies to be made on the day of Eid, everything is planned and discussed with all the family members, from bed sheets to new curtains, from cleaning the house to deciding which oud we going to buy, from making sheer khurma to making Konkani desserts, from buying new crockeries to buying new clothes for Eid, there's a lot on the plate other than just biryani."

When asked about her favourite delicacy she had on Eid, Fakih tells, "Mentioning a special Konkani delicacy which mom makes every Eid and it's called Sandan, it's like a sweetened idli which is made of rice, coconut, coconut milk and jaggery which tastes best with chicken stew and it makes a good and healthy breakfast on Eid day."

She also shared her thoughts about the significance of Eid for her, Anjum says, "After a month of fasting religiously I believe the almighty gave us a day of celebration. They say the almighty showers his blessings on his believers on the day of Eid and angels come down and greet all those who have fasted. It's a great reminder to all of us that how we all should all be grateful for all the blessings we have and share those blessings not with just our loved ones but also with those who are less fortunate."
