Kumkum Bhagya TWIST: Mugdha Chaphekar-Krishna Kaul To QUIT Zee TV Show After 20-Year LEAP. What We Know

Kumkum Bhagya leap: Zee TV's popular show is all to take introduce a major twist in the upcoming months. Following the footsteps of Imlie, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Udaariyaan, the makers of Kumkum Bhagya are all set to take a big time jump. While the channel and the production house have remained tight-lipped about the same, gossip mills suggest that daily soap is taking a huge leap.

AFTER YRKKH, KUMKUM BHAGYA TAKES LEAP

While the leap in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has not been confirmed, it has been speculated that Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod would leave the daily soap that airs on Star Plus. Rajan Shahi and his team have not reacted to the conjecture about YRKKH.

Earlier in the day, we informed our readers about the time jump in Kumkum Bhagya as the makers have run out of tracks. The show witnessed a five-year leap when Prachi and Ranbir became parents. Considering the diminishing popularity of the show, Balaji Telefilms have decided to spice up things by bringing a new star cast and leap.

KRISHNA KAUL-MUGDHA CHAPHEKAR QUIT KUMKUM BHAGYA

According to a report in ETimes, the cast will be changed after the leap as all the artists will make an exit from the show. Krishna Kaula and Mudgha Chaphekar, who are seen Ranbir and Prachi respectively, will no longer play the main leads. The story will shift focus to their daughter, who will grow up after the leap.

The report stated that the auditions for the new actors have started. The entire casting including the leads will not feature in the show after the leap. Guess what? The leap is expected to take place in November.

Krishna and Mugdha, who have been a part of Kumkum Bhagya since 2019, will make an exit. They are quitting as the show will now shift base to a different city and have a new track. PraNbir's daughter will be taking charge as the main lead while the other artists will bid adieu to the popular drama.

Kumkum Bhagya started with Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia as the main leads. Mugdha and Krishna joined the show in April 2019 after the first generation leap was announced. After Sriti and Shabir left the daily soap, the two celebrities took over the charge.
