POPULAR KUMKUM BHAGYA ACTRESS CONFIRMS EXIT

In 2021, both of them put their papers down after being a part of the super hit show for over seven years. The makers then introduced Mugdha Chaphekar and Krishna Kaul as the new leads Prachi and Ranbir. As the duo continued to win hearts, Reyhna Pandit replaced Shikha Singh as the main antagonist Aaliya.

Just like Shikha, even Reyhna set a benchmark with her strong performance as Aaliya in Kumkum Bhagya and received huge love from the show's loyal viewers. However, after being a part of the popular drama for three years, the talented actress is finally set to bid adieu. Yes, you read that right!

HERE'S WHY REHYNA PANDIT IS LEAVING KUMKUM BHAGYA

In a recent interview, Reyhna Pandit confirmed quitting Kumkum Bhagya and revealed that she's now looking forward to playing more challenging roles. Revealing the reason behind putting her papers down, she told ETimes, "It has been almost three years of playing Aaliya. Then, my track took a backseat around February 2023 and I was on a break for 2-3 months. Later, the makers called me back in May as my track revived. However, as my track progressed, I realised that there was not much to do. I want to essay challenging roles. And so, I decided it was time to opt out. I am happy that the makers offered me Aaliya because it was a good role, but over a period of three years, I felt I had done everything to the best of my ability and nothing much was left to explore."
