Kundali Bhagya Leap Promo: Shraddha Arya Plays Paras’ Mother, Unhappy Fans Say ‘Behen Kyu Karna Hai…’

Kundali Bhagya Leap Update: The spin-off to Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia's Kumkum Bhagya, featuring Shraddha Arya in the lead role of Preeta, premiered on ZEE TV in July 2017 and has been winning hearts since then.

Starring Shakti Arora as the male lead Karan Luthra, the much-loved show will be completing six successful years in July this year and it still among the top-rated daily soaps on the channel.

As reported earlier, the makers of Kundali Bhagya are set to introduce a generation leap to make the show more interesting and entertaining for viewers. While Shakti Arora and Sanjay Gagnani have put their papers down, Shraddha is continuing after the leap and will be seen playing the mother to grown-up kids.

After the leap, Sana Sayyad, Paras Kalnawat, and Baseer Ali will be entering Kundali Bhagya as the new generation. After a long wait, the makers finally unveiled a new promo and introduced the new cast members.

In the promo, Anupamaa star Paras Kalnawat is introduced as Rajveer Luthra. He's seen touching his mother Preeta's (Shraddha Arya) feet. Sana and Baseer too are seen in the clip.

While the promo has been getting a positive response, Shraddha Arya fans aren't happy with the makers sidelining her in the new promo. Also, they are expressing their displeasure on social media over the 35-year-old actress playing mother to 26-year-old Paras.

Reacting to the promo, a Twitter user wrote, "No hate to anyone in fact I'm happy for the new cast and to be very honest the casting is so perfect but shraddha she is going to play a side role? Kyuu behen kyuu karna hai yehi show? 5 saal bht hote hai plss."

Another social media user tweeted, "Why is Shraddha playing a mother to a 20 year old (crying emojis) She is a phenomenal actress who deserves a better character and a better script. The writers will sideline her character just like they did with Pragya after the GL leap."
