Weeks After Revealing That She's NOT Getting Work Due To ‘BOLD Scenes’, Ira Sone Bags Kundali Bhagya

Known for playing pivotal roles in Kumkum Bhagya and Saath Nibhana Saathiya, the TV actress had revealed that she’s going through a tough phase ever since she did bold scenes in an Ullu web series.

TV star Ira Sone, who has been part of the TV industry for over a decade, is best known for playing pivotal roles in ZEE TV's Kumkum Bhagya and Star Plus' Saath Nibhana Saathiya. A few weeks ago, the actress made headlines after an explosive interview in which Ira revealed that she's finding it hard to get good work ever since she featured in the Ullu web series Woodpecker in 2021.

In the interview, the actress stated that she's going through a rough patch ever since she did some bold scenes in the series both personally and professionally. However, after a long wait, Ira Sone has finally bagged a new show.

NEW ENTRY IN SHRADDHA ARYA'S KUNDALI BHAGYA

Well, she'll be seen playing a pivotal role in Shraddha Arya and Shakti Arora's hit ZEE TV show Kundali Bhagya. Yes, you read that right!

In the show, Ira portrays the character of Nidhi Hinduja, who is the sister of Anjali Hinduja (played by Sonal Vengurlekar) and the former fiancée of Arjun (played by Shakti Arora). Nidhi's storyline revolves around reconciling with Arjun. The actress expressed her excitement about making a comeback to television after seven long years with Kundali Bhagya.

Talking about it, Ira told IANS, "Kundali Bhagya is one of the most popular shows and being a part of it is a huge honour. I am really happy to be back on television after 7 years, that too with such a big hit show. I'm playing the character of Nidhi, a positive and caring girl."

While talking to ETimes last month, Ira revealed that her boyfriend parted ways with her after she worked in Woodpecker. The actress also received criticism from her family and relatives due to her bold scenes. Since then, she is very clear about not saying yes to such roles and projects.

On the career front, Ira was last seen in Sony TV's Desh Ki Beti Nandini.
