Confirmed! Shakti Anand To Play Lead Opposite Shraddha Arya In Kundali Bhagya; Spill Beand About The New Twist

Kundali Bhagya has been making the headlines of late courtesy of the recent change in the leads of the show. For the uninitiated, Shakti Arora, who played the lead role of Karan Luthra in the show, has quit Kundali Bhagya. It was reported that Shakti wasn't happy with the leap in the show wherein he was supposed to play the role of a father to a 28 year old. Post his exit, there have been speculations about who will be the next lead opposite Shraddha Arya. While it was reported the Amar Upadhyay was roped in for the role, it has now been revealed that Shakti Anand will play the lead role in Kundali Bhagya.

Confirming the news, Shakti stated that he is over the moon about joining the cast of the show. He also went on to spill the beans about the new twist in the show. Talking to the Times of India, Shakti said, "I am proud to enter a show that has lasted for six years given that in recent times, we see shows wrapping up in just a few months. I will essay the role of Karan Luthra and it will be a completely new story with grown-up children in the show. I am sure that the makers will bring in a lot of twists for viewers in the coming months". He further asserted that he has no qualms about playing a father in the show as his role has many shades.

Meanwhile, Paras Kalnawat has joined the cast of Kundali Bhagya post the leap and his co-star Anjum Faikh can't keep calm about it.
