Kundali Bhagya: Generation Leap Is Happening, THIS Actor Confirms Quitting Shraddha Arya’s Show After 6 Years

Ever since its premiere in 2017 on ZEE TV, Ekta Kapoor's Kundali Bhagya has been continuously entertaining fans. Featuring Shraddha Arya and Shakti Arora in the lead roles of Preeta and Karan respectively, the hit show is a spin-off to Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia's Kumkum Bhagya and is among the top-rated shows on the channel.

Since last month, there has been a constant buzz that Kundali Bhagya is going to take a generation leap very soon. Well, actor Sanjay Gagnani has now confirmed the same.

Not just that, he has also revealed quitting Kundali Bhagya after being a part of it for around six years. He became a household name for playing the role of antagonist Prithvi in the much-loved show.

SANJAY GAGNANI CONFIRMS LEAP & QUITS KUNDALI BHAGYA

Last year, in December too, Sanjay had made up his mind to quit Kundali Bhagya but later changed his decision. Now that the show is taking a leap, he has finally put his papers down.

Revealing the same, Sanjay told ETimes, "The character Prithvi has gone through ups and downs, and I have exited and entered the show thrice in the past. Every time my character exited the show, I felt that it had scope and there was still more I could contribute to it. However, now that the show is taking a leap, I have decided to exit. Over the years, I grew emotionally attached to the entire team of Kundali Bhagya."

After quitting Kundali Bhagya, Sanjay wishes to explore web shows and other platforms. Well, his fans are surely going to miss seeing him in the show.

NEW LEADS OF KUNDALI BHAGYA AFTER 20-YEAR LEAP

As per the recent reports, the makers have roped in Divya Drishti actress Sana Sayyad and Anupamaa actor Paras Kalnawat to play the new lead couple after leap. However, an official announcement is still awaited.
