Kundali Bhagya: Not Sumbul Touqeer, Her Imlie Co-Star Shortlisted To Enter Shraddha Arya’s Show After Leap?

The spin-off to Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia's Kumkum Bhagya, Ekta Kapoor's Kundali Bhagya has been entertaining fans ever since it premiered in ZEE TV in 2017. The show features Shraddha Arya and Shakti Arora in the lead roles of Preeta and Karan respectively.

After a successful run of around six years, the makers are set to introduce a generation leap in the much-loved show. While Sana Sayyad is said to have finalised to play the new female lead after the time leap, rumours were rife that Bigg Boss 16 contestant Sumbul Touqeer Khan was also being considered for the part.

While Sumbul won't be a part of Kundali Bhagya, the latest buzz suggests that one of her Imlie co-stars has been shortlisted to play a crucial part after the generation leap. Well, we're talking about actor Manasvi Vashisht who replaced Gashmeer Mahajani as Aditya in the hit Star Plus show.

SUMBUL TOUQEER KHAN'S IMLIE CO-STAR MANASVI VASHISHT IN KUNDALI BHAGYA?

Anupamaa star Paras Kalnawat is going to be the new male lead and will be paired opposite Sana Sayyad. However, Kundali Bhagya will see another pivotal character after the leap and the makers have shortlisted Manasvi Vashisht and Bigg Boss OTT fame Zeeshan Khan. Yes, you read that right!

Revealing the same, a source informed ETimes, "We have shortlisted both Manasvi and Zeeshan, let's see who the makers plan to finalise".

Now, it'll be interesting to see who among Manasvi and Zeeshan will finally bag the role.

WHO IS IMLIE FAME MANASVI VASHISHT?

For the unversed, Manasvi Vashisht is a model-turned-actor who first grabbed limelight in 2018 after participating in MTV's India's Next Top Model. In 2019, he was seen as a contestant in Amazon Prime Video's Skulls And Roses hosted by Raghu and Rajiv. He later went on to play pivotal roles in Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 and Imlie.

SHAKTI ARORA QUITS KUNDALI BHAGYA

The news of a generation leap is getting a mixed response from fans. While Shraddha Arya is likely to continue with the show and will be seen playing mother to grown-up kids after the leap, Shakti Arora has reportedly quit Kundali Bhagya as he don't want to age on-screen.
