Maitree: Shrenu Parikh, Namish Taneja’s ZEE TV Show Set To Take 6-Year Leap; Here’s What We Know

Maitree Leap Update: Zee TV's recently launched show - 'Maitree' focuses on the exciting journey of Maitree (Shrenu Parikh) and her soul sister, Nandini (Bhaweeka Chaudhary) who have been inseparable since their childhood. While they are sure that nothing can break their friendship and that they will remain the best of friends even after marriage, it seems that life has other plans for them.

Since its premiere, the show has kept its viewers on the edge of their seats and in the upcoming episodes the whole tale is going to turn on its head as the audience will get to watch a six-year leap in the show. After the leap, the viewers will get to watch how Ashish (Namish Taneja) and Nandini's son Nandish is extremely attached to Maitree. Although he knows his mother is Nandini but because she has been in Coma throughout in, Maitree has always taken care of him like her own child and hence Nandish is very attached to her. Maitree, who didn't move on in life in the last six years and dedicated her heart & soul to Nandish is still hopeful that Nandini would come back soon! But what will happen when Nandini comes out of Coma and back in 'Tiwari Sadan'? Will her re-entry in Maitree, Nandish and Ashish's life, change their relationship dynamics? Talking about the leap, Shrenu Parikh mentioned, "This six-year leap is definitely going to bring in a lot of twists and turns in the story which will entertain the audience thoroughly. I am really excited that we have again started shooting with Bhaweeka. I must say, all of us really missed working with her properly, because she was in a Coma in the track, she didn't have many scenes with us. But now we all are going to shoot full-fledged scenes with her. The viewers are in for loads of drama in the upcoming episodes as the high point of the story begins now and I am sure the audience will love it."

NAMISH TANEJA EXCITED FOR LEAP IN MAITREE

Namish Taneja also mentioned, "I am really glad that our show is loved by the audience and now this leap will keep the audience on the edge of their seats. After the leap, viewers will get to watch a minor change in the look of my character as I am playing the role of a father. In fact, this is what I love about my job as it gives us a chance to experience different shades of life in one role. Moreover, I really enjoy shooting with the child because he picks things up very quickly. Whenever we get some free time, we start playing games on the set and this is how we built our relationship, which audience will get to watch on screen as well. I just hope our fans will like this father and son bond and continue to shower their love on us."
