EXCLUSIVE! Never Planned To Be Actress...: Mann Sundar's Priyanka Shuklaa Says She's Living Her Dad's Dreams

Actress Priyanka Shuklaa is a well-known face in the entertainment industry. She has done a lot of projects and currently she is seen essaying the character of Disha in the Dangal TV show Mann Sundar. The actress who has been in this industry for a long time reveals that she is living her father's dream as he wanted to be an actor but circumstances didn't allow him.

Talking about her acting journey, Priyanka reveals, "I never planned to be an actress but it just happened. Actually, my father was an actor, he even signed a film but, unfortunately, he couldn't complete his dream due to his health issues as he was bed-ridden. So, I decided to fulfill his dream and here I am living my father's dream. It was my father's unfulfilled dream and persistence that led me to set foot in acting. The seed of acting in my mind was sown by him and in my success, his name will always be associated."

Lastly, Priyanka adds,"The road to glory was difficult but I faced the challenges that came in my way with a lot of gusto. I stepped into this profession to fulfill my father's dream, but today, acting has become my passion and I can't imagine my life without it. There is definitely a spark in this field that has got me stuck with its cord."

On the professional front, Priyanka is a popular name in showbiz industry. The actress has been a part of various TV shows, including Jodha Akbar, Sankat Mochan Hanuman, Pyaar Ke Papad and Bhaag Bakool Bhaag. She was seen in the Tamil flick Thagadu, the Telugu drama Pedavi Datani Matokatundhi, and a Kannada TV show titled Hara Hara Mahadeva. Priyanka also played a key role in the Bollywood film named Bhanwarey and the web show Chhoriyan.
