MasterChef India 7: Race To Reach Finals Gets Gruelling As Top 9 Fights To Win ‘Ticket To Finale’
The top 9 ‘MasterChef India contestants are Priyanka Kundu Biswas, Aruna Vijay, Santa Sarmah, Gurkirat Singh, Kamaldeep Kaur, Sachin Khatwani, Suvarna Bagul, Deepa Chauhan, and Nayanjyoti Saikia.

After a wonderful tour to Amul Factory in Anand, Gujarat, the Top 9 home cooks came back to the MasterChef Kitchen for a rollercoaster set of challenges. Continuing the 'Race to Finale', the Top 9 home cooks get ready to face a new set of challenges. The judges, Chefs Ranveer Brar, Vikas Khanna and Garima Arora will be challenging the Top 9 home cooks to yet another set of tasks which will further the home cooks towards their goal of becoming 'MasterChef'. This week, the home cooks will be getting into the rough of the challenges to aim to win the 'Ticket To Finale' which will ensure their position directly in the Finale of MasterChef India!
On Monday, the home cooks will be participating in the Healthy Food Challenge in which while the contestants will have to cook something healthy for the judges as the challenge suggests, a surprise would shock the home cooks and send the MasterChef Kitchen into "come-plate" chaos. On Tuesday, the challenge to the home cooks will be "Pushp India Swad Ka" for which the home cooks will have to concoct an international dish out of "desi" masalas. On Wednesday and Thursday, the home cooks collaborate with sous chefs in the challenge 'Pairing with Chefs' and celebrate Holi in a unique style! Moving on to Friday, judge Chef Garima Arora becomes the 'Pressure Test' challenge and asks home cooks to replicate her dish 'Millets Masti'. These challenges will have the contestants prove their mirth in the culinary world of the MasterChef Kitchen and make one from them win the ultimate 'Ticket to Finale', saving them from participating in any further challenges till the Finals!
Talking about the upcoming week and the challenges that the home cooks will now face in week 9, Chef Garima Arora says, "This week, as the home cooks prepare for the "Race to Finale," the challenges will become more difficult. All challenges are designed to put the home cooks' skills to the test, and their acumen. In the week, I will be one of the challenges presented to the home chefs, and I will ask them to replicate a dish of mine. These challenges, once again, hone the skills of the home cooks in their journey to be 'MasterChef'. We want the best of the best, and the challenges allow them to do just that."
