Even those who aren't tuning in to watch MTV Roadies 19 are well aware of the intense rivalry between the gang leaders, often witnessing them engaged in heated verbal disputes.
The former Bigg Boss champions, Gautam Gulati and Prince Narula joined forces for the very first time in MTV Roadies - Karm Ya Kaand, and it was evident that they were determined to make it a challenging experience for each other within the game. The episodes clearly depict that they do not share a strong bond and often find themselves pitted against one another.
PRINCE NARULA ON HOW FIGHT WITH GAUTAM GULATI STARTED
In a recent interview, Prince Narula finally opened up about his equation with Gautam Gulati and revealed how their rivalry started. Talking about the same, Prince told Pinkvilla, "Kya tha ki, starting mei jab hum jaate hai, Roadies ke auditions se pehle logon ko milne. Toh waha par, uska first day tha toh jaise hi entry hoti hai log naam nulate hai toh Gautam na thoda slo-mo mei gaya tha. Humne pehli bar dekha toh humei laga normal hai shayad first time aaya hai. Jab second time wo repeat hua toh mai aur director Sagar uski vanity mei gaye the, aise bhai ke naate ki bhae 'I'm telling you as a brother, theek hai, kyunki show mei aaya hai mai welcome karta hun. Ki terko log bohot pyaar karte hai, jab tera naam chillate hai, tu thoda slow speed mei jaata hai toh wo energy kill kar deta hai. Tu bhaag ke jaa, logon se mil.' Waha pe wo thoda nikalte hue naraaz ho gaya hoga shayad, humei nahi pata, waha se bilkul chill hoke nikle hai. Vanity mei jaa kar unhone normal bol diya ki 'usko pata nahi mai kaun hun, theek hai, mujhe bata rahe hai.' Toh uske baad phir mujhe laga ki dekho tumhei distance hi rakha hai, tumhei chahiye hi nahi. Kyunki jab mai pehle year gaya tha, mujhe Ran bhai (Rannvijay Singha), Neha (Dhupia) ne kitna kuch samjhaya aur mai sunta tha, kyunki mai naya tha. Mujhe lagta tha wo purane hai aur bata rahe hai, kuch accha hi hoga. Aur humne toh kuch bataya bhi nahi ki tumne khelna kaise hai, humne toh sirf normal baat kari. jo crowd ki requirement hai, jab log jaa rahe hai toh pump karke jaate hai taaki log bhi utna uthe. Wo mujhe thoda childish laga, uske bad kabhi wo equation theek hone mei nahi aai."
