Kasautii Zindagii Kay Star Aamna Sharif Aka Komolika Returning To TV With THIS Show After 2 Years?
Two years after playing the role of Komolika in Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes’ Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, actress Aamna Sharif is likely to return to TV after a gap of over two years.
Actress Aamna Sharif, who made her acting debut with Ekta Kapoor's hit Star Plus show Kahiin to Hoga in 2003, has come a long way in her career and is among the most loved TV stars.
After making a successful TV debut, she went on to feature in various popular shows and also tried her luck in Bollywood with films like Aloo Chaat and Ek Villain. After a long gap of six years, she made her much-awaited TV comeback with Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 in 2019.
Featuring Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes in the lead roles of Anurag and Prerna respectively, Aamna replaced Hina Khan as the main antagonist Komolika Chaubey and won many hearts.
In 2020, the hit Star Plus went off-air and the actress is away from the small screen since then. However, the latest buzz suggests that Aamna Sharif has bagged a new show and is all set to return to TV after a break of over two years. Yes, you read that right!
Reportedly, Aamna will be joining the cast of the Star Bharat show Na Umra Ki Seema Ho and will play a character named Yamini in the upcoming track. The show stars Iqbal Khan and Rachana Mistry in the lead roles of Dev and Vidhi respectively.
Revealing the same, a source informed ETimes, "Aamna's character is crucial and plays a significant role in the next episodes."
The report further states that the actress' character is highly distinctive and she will soon start shooting for the show. While an official announcement is still awaited, fans of Aamna Sharif are already excited to see her on the small screen once again in a brand-new role.
