Friends Of Tejasswi Prakash’s Naagin 6 Co-Star Made FUN Of Her For Doing The Show: You Don’t Even Know…

Naagin 6 Update: Amid massive buzz and high expectations, Ekta Kapoor-produced supernatural drama Naagin 6 premiered on Colors TV in February of last year. Starring Tejasswi Prakash, the show has been a consistent performer on the TRP charts ever since.

However, after over a year-long run, the popular series was rumoured to go off-air in April. However, the month has almost ended but there's no clarity on the show's last episode date. In the midst of this development, Mahekk Chahal is elated as she recently won an award for her performance in the hit supernatural drama.

For the unversed, Mahekk walked away with the Best Actress In A Negative Role for Naagin 6 at the recently-held Indian Telly Awards. After winning the trophy, the actress opened up about how she wasn't sure about doing the show as she isn't much familiar with the Hindi language.

MAHEKK CHAHAL ON INTIAL DOUBTS ABOUT NAAGIN 6

Initially, Maheck Chahal had doubts about her ability to portray a naagin character on television when the role was offered to her.

Talking to ETimes, she stated, "Though I am a Sikh, I have been born and brought up in Norway, so my Hindi was never good. I could not read or write Hindi. When I was confirmed for the role in Naagin 6, a part of me wanted to reconsider because I thought I would not be able to speak Hindi well."

Mahekk added, "My friends joked saying, 'You don't know how to speak Hindi, and you have decided to play a Naagin!' They never felt that I would be able to pull it off for a year. Now when finally my work has been appreciated and the show has lasted for more than a year, I am having the last laugh! I am glad my hard work has paid off. I worked hard on my diction and even had a tutor training me in Hindi on the set."

Well, the actress is indeed doing a great job in Naagin 6.
