Naagin 7 EXCLUSIVE: Ghum's Ayesha Singh To Play Lead, To Take Over Charge From Tejasswi Prakash In New Season?

Naagin 7 lead: When Colors channel launched Naagin 6 with Tejasswi Prakash, little did the industry folks expect the show to perform so well. It is one of the top-performing properties on the channel, garnering a decent viewership. At a time when many shows have failed to grab eyeballs, the weekend drama is the saving grace for the leading GEC.

NAAGIN 6 EXTENSION

Tejasswi Prakash has received love from all corners for her brilliant performance in Naagin 6. She is the only actress who has romanced so many male artists in a single show. From Simba Nagpal to Shrey Mittal, the Bigg Boss 15 winner has showcased her sizzling chemistry with different actors.

Filmibeat was the first portal to confirm that Naagin 6 has received an extension. "Several new shows on the channel are not performing well in terms of TRPs. Only Naagin 6 and Udaariyaan are gaining decent numbers. Tejasswi Prakash's show is like a golden goose for Colors and they won't be killing it soon when other properties have failed," a reliable source told Filmibeat.

"The channel has taken a decision on Naagin 6's fate as Bekaboo has also failed to grab decent eyeballs during weekends. Contrary to the rumours, the supernatural drama is not going off air anytime soon," the source said when asked about Naagin 6's extension.

AYESHA SINGH TO TAKE OVER CHARGE FROM TEJASSWI PRAKASH?

Ayesha Singh will be soon making an exit from Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin along with Neil Bhatt and Harshad Arora. As the makers believe that the storyline has run its course, they have decided to introduce a generation leap.

After the leap, Ayesha and Neil will quit the show and pave the way for the new generation of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein. If the recent buzz in the industry is to be believed, Ayesha might be seen in the next installment of Naagin.

NAAGIN 7 LEAD

Speculations were rife that Colors channel was not ending Naagin 6 as it couldn't find a suitable actress for Naagin 7. And now, we have an exclusive update about the seventh season.

"Ayesha Singh has been approached for Naagin 7. She is in contention to play the lead role in the show. However, she has not given an audition yet. Things are at a nascent stage," a source told Filmibeat.
