Naagin 7: Not Ayesha Singh, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary Bags The Lead Role? Here’s What We Know

Naagin 7 Update: Ekta Kapoor's Naagin 6, featuring Tejasswi Prakash in the lead roles, finally bid adieu to the viewers this weekend. The supernatural drama turned out to be the longest season in the franchise and fans loved Tejasswi's different avatars in it.

While the loyal fans were sad about their favourite show Naagin 6 end, the makers surprised them by announcing Naagin 7. The new season's promo has been doing the rounds since Sunday and the new naagin shown in the clip has left everyone confused. Since then, the names of two popular actresses have been doing the rounds as the lead actress of Naagin 7. There are speculations that the makers are considering Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin actress Ayesha Singh and Bigg Boss 16 star Priyanka Chahar Choudhary for the next season of Naagin. After seeing the silhouette in the promo, some even guessed that it's Ridhim Pandit.

NAAGIN 7: PRIYANKA CHAHAR CHOUDHARY BEATS AYESHA SINGH?

However, the makers are yet to unveil the actress' name who'll be playing the lead role in Naagin 7. Amid all this, a Tellychakkar report states that Udaariyaan actress Priyanka Chahar Choudhary has beaten Ayesha Singh and other actresses who were vying for the role. Yes, you read that right!

The report states that Priyanka has been finalised for Naagin 7 and has also started shooting for it. However, Naagin 6 has just ended and there's no way that the shooting of Naagin season seven will start so soon. Well, we're not too sure about Priyanka starting the show's shoot. Hence, we'll prefer to wait for an announcement from the makers' side.

Recently, in an interview, the Bigg Boss 16 second runner-up opened up about her name being floating as the lead actress of Naagin 7. Priyanka stated that she's aware about the speculations but nothing is yet confirmed.
