Naagin 7 lead: Tejasswi Prakash's Naagin 6 ended with a blockbuster finale episode on July 9, 2023. After weeks of speculations, it was finally confirmed that the supernatural drama will end on a high note. The mystery over the last episode of Naagin season 6 created ripples on the internet.

NAAGIN 6 ENDING: WHAT HAPPENED?

The channel didn't wish to drag the show any further and end it at the right time and hence, they took the decision. Both the channel and the production house had tight-lipped about Naagin 6 going off air till the last time.

"The decision has been taken. Neerja will launch on July 10 and air for seven days a week, replacing Naagin 6 on weekends. ShivShakti, which premiered on June 19, will also get extended to Saturday and Sunday. There were mumours that Naagin 6 will extend till August but the drop in TRPs is said to be the reason why the channel decided to not drag the show anymore," a khabri told Filmibeat.

After Colors channel dropped a big hint about Naagin 7 and confirmed that it will return with a new season, fans started wondering about the female lead of the show. They shared their thoughts about the actress who will replace Tejasswi Prakash as the new nagin in the upcoming show.

Tejasswi Prakash did an amazing job as she impressed everyone with her power-packed performance in Naagin 6. Be it Prathna or Pratha, she played all the roles with ease in the hit weekend show. As the show has now ended, all eyes are on Naagin 7.

TV buffs have been wondering who will play the female lead in Naagin 7 after the makers dropped a hint about the upcoming season. Names of Priyanka Choudhary, Ayesha Singh and Sumbul Touqeer have been floating on the internet.

One user tweeted, "Any guesses kon h ye naagin 7 ke liye actress. Sumbul , priyanka ya kohi random model. Ps: naagin 6 first promo bhi ek model ne shoot kiya tha taaki vo season ane se phele kisi ko pata na chale ki vo teja h (sic)."

Last month, Filmibeat reported about Ayesha Singh essaying the role of a nagin and replacing Tejasswi Prakash in the new season. "Ayesha Singh has been approached for Naagin 7. She is in contention to play the lead role in the show. However, she has not given an audition yet. Things are at a nascent stage," a source told Filmibeat.

The Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin actress has refuted the rumours about her saying yes to the show.
