Navaratri
2023:
The
festival
of
colors
and
the
divine
joy
of
taking
part
in
Garba
have
arrived.
Navaratri
is
celebrated
with
various
customs
in
different
cultures
and
regions
throughout
the
country.
In
the
North,
there's
'Mata
ki
chowki,'
while
Bengalis
observe
'Durga
Pujo,'
and
Gujaratis
participate
in
Garba
dancing
and
conduct
havan
rituals
for
all
ten
days.
Numerous
celebrities
graciously
open
their
homes
to
welcome
the
nine
Goddesses
and
celebrate
with
immense
enthusiasm.
In
the
midst
of
these
festivities,
TV
star
Manasi
Joshi
Roy
shared
her
Navratri
memories
and
shed
light
on
how
it
is
a
mixture
of
both
Gujarati
and
Bengali
cultures
for
her.
The
actress,
who
is
currently
seen
essaying
the
lead
role
of
Amba
in
the
ZEE
TV
show
Kyunki
Saas
Maa
Bahu
Beti
Hoti
Hai,
shared
her
excitement
and
said,
"Despite
being
a
Gujarati,
I'm
not
very
good
with
garba
or
dandiya
ras
because
I've
two
left
feet.
I
enjoy
watching
other
people
dance
and
I
think
it's
beautiful
and
nice.
Like
you
know,
amazing
how
people
do
those
different
steps.
I've
never
been
one
for
really
going
for
dandiya
or
garba
primarily
because
of
that,
my
two
left
feet.
But,
my
husband
in
fact
is
very
fond,
because
Rohit
(Roy)
grew
up
in
Ahembabad,
so
it
was
a
big
thing
to
go
for
dandiya
and
garba
every
time
during
Navaratri.
So,
he
loves
it.
I
love
to
watch
people.
And,
also
for
me,
Navaratri
doesn't
just
mean
garba
or
dandiya
because
being
married
to
a
Bengali,
for
me,
it
also
means
Durga
Puja
and
Pujo
Badi,
and
going
to
pandal.
Each
year,
my
family
hosts
a
bhog
for
everybody.
We
go
and
serve
the
bhog
ourselves
to
people.
So,
for
me,
Navaratri
has
now
over
the
years
become
a
combination
of
my
Gujarati
culture
and
Bengali
culture."
She
added,
"And
this
year,
I'm
looking
forward
to
celebrating
Navaratri
with
my
new
parivaar,
the
Kyunki
Saas
Maa
Bahu
Beti
Hoti
Hai
parivaar."
Navratri,
a
nine-night
festival
devoted
to
Goddess
Durga,
is
celebrated
with
deep
reverence.
Alongside
traditional
practices
like
Goddess
worship,
fasting,
and
the
creation
of
special
Navratri
dishes,
an
exceptional
and
vibrant
aspect
adds
to
the
festive
ambiance
-
the
nine
colors
of
Navratri.
