Navratri
2023:
The
festival
of
colors
and
the
divine
delight
of
participating
in
Garba
are
upon
us.
Navaratri
is
observed
with
diverse
traditions
in
different
cultures
and
regions
across
the
country.
In
the
North,
there's
'Mata
ki
chowki,'
while
Bengalis
celebrate
'Durga
Pujo,'
and
Gujaratis
engage
in
Garba
dancing
and
hold
havan
rituals
for
all
ten
days.
ASHI
SINGH
ON
NAVRATRI
CELEBRATION
IN
MUMBAI
Many
celebrities
open
their
homes
to
welcome
the
nine
Goddesses
and
celebrate
with
tremendous
enthusiasm.
Amid
all
this,
TV
star
Ashi
Singh
opened
up
about
her
Navratri
memories
and
how
the
festival
is
being
celebrated
in
Mumbai.
Ashi
Singh,
currently
portraying
the
main
character
of
Sumeet
in
the
popular
ZEE
TV
daily
soap
Meet,
said,
"I
am
sure
every
city
has
its
own
charm
during
this
festival
and
Mumbai
is
no
exception,
the
city
which
never
sleeps
suddenly
becomes
even
more
vibrant
and
colorful
these
days.
When
I
first
moved
to
Mumbai,
I
was
in
school.
I
used
to
go
to
play
Garba,
but
honestly,
I
never
got
the
hang
of
it
and
I'm
still
on
the
same
page.
My
mother
generally
fasts
for
all
the
nine
days
and
also
does
'Kanjak
puja'
on
the
eighth
day.
I
believe
festivals
are
nothing
but
a
reason
to
get
together
and
spread
love.
I
wish
everyone
a
very
happy
and
safe
Navaratri."
