Navya Fame Somya Seth Ties The Knot Again; Gets Married In An Intimate Ceremony

Remember Somya Seth? The actress became a national crush with her show Navya..Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal opposite Shaheer Sheikh. She played the titular role in the show that came in 2011 and won millions of hearts with her innocent looks and acting skills.

The actress, who has been staying away from the entertainment world for years now, is making headlines today as she has tied the knot in US. Somya married beau Shubham Chuhadia in an intimate wedding. Interestingly, it was a FRIENDS-style wedding for the couple.

Talking about the wedding, the new bride told ETimes TV, "We gave our parents one day, June 21 wherein we both agreed to do whatever they wanted - so they did haldi and mehendi. And June 22 was all about Shubham and I doing it our way. Shubhangi Chuhadia, Shubham's sister, got ordained and as in the TV show Friends-style, we took our vows. There were no guests. Only the most important people in our lives like our immediate family members and just a couple of friends were invited to our wedding".

To note, this happens to be Somya's second marriage. She was earlier married to US-based businessman Arun Kapoor in January 2017. They welcomed their son in August 2017. It was reported that Somya filed the divorce in 2019 and got the custody of her son Ayden.

Somya revealed that she met Shubham when she was looking for a bigger house in 2019. They were housemates initially who became friends later. However, their friendship reached another level during pandemic. Interestingly, the actress also revealed that Ayden also shares a great bond with Shubham and that they are best friends.

"Ayden knows he can completely rely on Shubh and you know he was really happy to see everyone all dressed up at our wedding," Somya added.
