It is time for a celebration for Balika Vadhu actress Neha Marda. The actress, who has been expecting her first child, has given birth to a baby girl today. For the uninitiated, Neha was expected to deliver the baby in May but was hospitalised lately owing to a complication in her pregnancy. And now, she has given birth to a premature baby. The mother and baby are doing fine.

Sharing her excitement about embracing her parenthood, Neha is over the moon with her baby's arrived. However, she asserted that she is yet to hold the newborn in her arms as the baby was moved to NICU shortly after birth. "She was with me briefly before she had to be moved to NICU being a premature baby. She has put on some weight," she added. The Piyaa Albela actress further spoke about her health and said that her BP was a major concern during the pregnancy and the complications were expected. "I am glad the phase is over, and I have been blessed with a beautiful daughter. Both of us are doing fine," Neha was quoted saying.

Earlier, Neha had shared pics of herself from the hospital and asserted that she is recovering at the moment. The pics were posted by her team who captioned the post as, "Waiting for a speedy recovery at this last phase of her pregnancy journey.. She has all faith on that one power. Shri Shivay Namstyuvhyam".

As of now, the family is contemplating the baby's name. "We are looking at a name that starts with A. Just like the first letter in the alphabet, I hope my daughter always stands out in life. For now, it's celebration time for us," Neha added. To note, Neha, who is married to businessman Ayushman Agarwal, is embracing motherhood for the first time after a decade of marriage.
