Nitesh Pandey Demise: Rupali Ganguly’s Anupamaa Co-Star Dies At 51

Nitesh Pandey Demise: It has been quite an unfortunate day for the telly world. As everyone woke up to the heartbreaking news of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai actress Vaibhavi Upadhyaya's sudden demise, another actor from the industry has passed away today. We are talking about Nitesh Pandey who was seen in Rupali Ganguly's much popular show Anupamaa in the role of Dheeraj Kumar.

According to media reports, Nitesh died of a heart attack. He was 51. As per a report published in ETimes, Nitesh suffered a cardiac arrest on the sets last night in Igatpuri near Nashik. The report claimed that the actor died soon after the cardiac arrest. The news was confirmed by his brother in law Siddharth Nagar who is a producer.

Talking to the publication, Nagar remembers Nitesh as a lively person with no history of heart disease. He stated that Nitesh's wife Arpita Pandey is in a state of shock. The late actor's father is currently on his way to Igatpuri to get the mortal remains to Mumbai.

"Yes you have heard it right. My brother-in-law is no more, my sister Arpita Pandey is in a state of shock. Nitesh's father has left for Igatpuri to get his mortal remains. They should be here by the afternoon. We have gone absolutely numb, I have not been able to even talk to Arpita after the tragedy," Siddharth Nagar was quoted saying.

He further added, "Nitesh was much younger than me. He was a very lively person and I don't think he had a history of any heart ailment". Needless to say, it is a tough time for the entire family and a big loss to the television fraternity.

Apart from Anupamaa, Nitesh Pandey is also known for his roles in Om Shanti Om, Khosla Ka Ghosla, tv serials like Indiawaali Maa etc
