Actress Radhika Madan has come under the radar of television celebs for her remarks on the TV industry. Several celebrities have expressed their displeasure over her comments on the functioning of the Indian television industry. Many actors have shared their opinions about the same and now actress Maira Dharti Mehra has shared her viewpoint about the same.
The small screen diva, who is currently essaying the role of Prerna in the Star Plus show Pandya Store, said that she has a different perspective than Radhika Madan. The actress, while exclusively talking to Filmibeat, shared her thoughts about the hullabaloo over Radhika's comment.
"Well, everyone has a different vision towards everything and whatever Radhika has said is her own perspective, which is quite different from mine. I am the kind of person who would love to work no matter how many hours I shoot," Maira said.
She further added, "I am here to work and not enjoy the vacation. I love shooting even if I am asked to do it 24/7. I have that kind of driving force in myself. My aim when I think about myself as an actor is to grow each day. I wish to do better projects, whether it's OTT, movies or global movies."
Maira mentioned that people are aware of the work culture in television industry and hence, demeaning the profession doesn't make sense. "Everyone is aware of the work culture in the Telly world, so cribbing and demeaning the profession is something that doesn't make sense. In my opinion, I am happy with the culture of television because working is what I love to do," she quipped.
On the professional front, Maira was last seen in the Hotstar series Aashiqana 2. She is known for her roles in shows like 'Sasuraal Genda Phool 2', 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', 'Kumkum Bhagya', 'Tera Yaar Hun Mai', 'Shaadi Mubarak', among others.
