It's been months since Paras Kalnawat ended his stint with Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna and Sudhanshu Pandey starrer Anupamaa. His exit came as a big shock to the audience and it has left everyone brimming with an opinion.

There were reports about Paras being ousted from Anupama after he was accused of breach of contract for signing up a show with a rival channel without any prior notice. For the uninitiated, the news of Paras' exit came after he had signed Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10. While Paras' exit was a quite a heartbreaker for his fans, he has finally revealed the reason behind leaving Anupama.

He made the revelation during a recent Q/A session on Instagram wherein a fan asked him about his exit from Anupamaa. To this, Paras revealed that he did it because of a good opportunity. He also claimed that anyone in the cast would do it.

"I would always be thankful to the makers for giving me such great show. But yaaron kahin pohochne ke liye kahin se nikalna zaroori hota hai and I believe I'm at a much better and peaceful place. Honestly speaking, 80% of the cast would want to exit if given an opportunity. Risk lene ki aur sahi ke liye ladne ki taaqat har kisi me nahi hoti," Paras wrote.

Earlier, Anupamaa makers had released a statement post Paras' exit and said, "Producer Rajan Shahi, who produces Anupama on Star Plus, has taken a stand to terminate the contract of actor Paras Kalnawat who played Samar in the show on account of breach of contract for signing up a show on another channel without any prior intimation."

As of now, Paras is winning hearts with his ongoing stint in Shraddha Arya's Kundali Bhagya. The actor was roped in to play the lead in the show post leap along with Sana Sayyad and Baseer Ali
