Paras Kalnawat Calls Anupamaa Co-stars Nidhi Shah, Aashish Mehrotra 'Liars', Says They Apologised After...

Paras Kalnawat has been hogging all the limelight ever since he claimed that 80 percent of Anupamaa cast would leave the show if given an opportunity. He made the explosive comment while interacting with a fan, who asked him why he made an exit from Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna's show.
The Dil Hi Toh Hai actor was fired from the hit daily soap after he took up Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 on a rival channel (Colors TV). The production house issued a statement accusing him of breaching the contract by participating in a show that aired on another GEC.
Last week, Paras Kalnawat set several tongues wagging when he took a dig at Nidhi Shah and Aashish Mehrortra for calling his claims 'funny'. While Nidhi said that no artist would ever leave a number one show, Aashish maintained that things are fine on the sets of Anupamaa.
Paras has now shared his thoughts about Nidhi and Aashish's interview about his remark. He said that the duo lied about him and hence, he was upset with them.
Breaking his silence over the controversy over the claims of an 'unhealthy environment' on the set, the Meri Durga actor told a leading daily that he decided to speak after reading the 'lies' that Nidhi and Aashish said in the interviews.
Paras said that both Aashish and Nidhi offered an apology after he contacted them to question the duo over their remarks in the media. He stated that talking about him in public and saying sorry in private is not a 'solution'.
"Aashish said he wasn't trying to speak against me but in favour of the show, while Nidhi said that she'd make up for it," he told Hindustan Times. Paras, who played the role of Samar, claimed that his co-stars are the first to get affected due to the environment on set. However, he didn't spill the beans on the same.
