Pratyusha Banerjee’s BF Rahul Raj Says Balika Vadhu Actress Didn’t Die By Suicide; Makes SHOCKING Revelations

Pratyusha Banerjee Suicide: Pratyusha Banerjee was one of the most loved television faces. She became a household name with her stint in the 2010 show, Balika Vadhu. Her sudden demise had left everyone in shock. The actress was found dead at her home in Bangur Nagar, Goregaon.

Pratyusha committed suicide by hanging herself on April 1, 2016. Pratyusha was in a relationship with actor Rahul Raj Singh. A case was filed against him for Pratyusha's death. He was however, granted anticipatory bail by the Bombay High Court.

Recently, Rahul Raj Singh once again opened up on Pratyusha's death and made some shocking revelations. During an interview with Aaj Tak, Rahul even addressed the charges framed against him. He said that he was not conscious for two-three days post her demise. He was given sleeping pills and when those pills did not work, he was given injections.

He added, "People are telling me I am responsible for her death. How can I be responsible for someone's death? I had a party with her just the night before. I didn't provoke her, but she was worried about her parents' debt. I do not consider it suicide. Pratyusha was making hanging videos to scare me. She often used to do this; only then must her foot have slipped."

Meanwhile, Rahul Raj Singh was accused by several closed ones of Pratyusha of being violent with her. Her parents Shankar Banerjee and Shoma Banerjee are still fighting for justice.
Rahul Raj married Saloni Sharma in 2018. The couple welcomed a girl child on January 26, 2023. During an interview with TOI, he said, 'We feel blessed and on top of the world. Our daughter is very cute. We have named her Shivanya. As devotees of Lord Shiva, it was natural to finalize a name that connected with Him. Shivanya means the one who is limitless and inexhaustible.'
