To this, the diva responded saying, "The weirdest rumours I heard is that I and Ankit, we both are dating". Well, Priyanka has clearly stated that she is just friends as of now. Interestingly, this isn't the first time, Ankit and Priyanka's bond has been the talk of the town.

Earlier, Ankit, in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, was asked if he had plans to take their friendship to another level. To this, the Junooniyatt actor stated, "Abhi to nahi socha hai. abhi to hum bahut ache dost hain aur hume is dosti ko pehle ache se enjoy karne do, phir dekhenge. It is the time we both need to focus on our work. Journey has just started aur bahut kuch hai Priyanka ko bhi achieve karna hai mujhe bhi achieve karna hai. We both are looking forward to it and baki sab bhagwaan bharose hai jo hona hoga hoga".

Meanwhile, talking about the work front, while Ankit is playing the lead in Junooniyatt with Gautam Vig and Neha Rana, there have been reports about PriyAnkit coming together for a web show. However, Ankit has clarified that he hasn't received any such call as of now. "Mujhe abhi tak aisa koi call nahi aaya hai. Mujhe abhi tak samajh nahi aata hai ki ye news aati kaha se hai," he added.
