The Udaariyaan duo had participated in the popular reality show as contestants and their adorable bond had won millions of hearts. It was a treat to watch them together in one frame. Interestingly, Ankit and Priyanka's bond had left fans wondering about their relationship status and there have been speculations about the duo has been dating each other.

However, Priyanka has clarified that they aren't in a relationship and are just good friends. In fact, during her interview with Siddharth Kanan, when Priyanka was quizzed about why she and Ankit aren't taking their friendship to another level despite having everything in place for them, Priyanka said, "Isliye nahi ghusi relationship me kyunki humara ek bahut hi pyara rishta hai aur abhi hum jis stage par hain, hum dono focussed hain apne kaam ko le kar. Abhi, we are just going with the flow and we have a beautiful bond jo hum continue karna chahte hain. Main to kal ka bhi nahi sochti hu. I am like go with the flow. Bs vaise hi chal raha hai aur hum khush hain. We are friends".

Priyanka also stated that while she shares a beautiful bond with Ankit Gupta, she would credit herself for the same. She explained, "Maine banaya hai aisa bond. Wo bahut patthar dil tha mere saath. He doesn't give a damn to anyone. Nature hi uska aisa hai. Humara rishta dheere dheere build hua hai. Ab usme kafi changes huye hain. hum friends bht ache hain.... aur ye rishta humesha aise hi barkarar rahega".

Meanwhile talking about the work front, Priyanka Choudhary is yet to announce her next project. However, there have been reports that she will be making her Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki. Besides, it is also reported that Priyanka will be seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 and Naagin 7. But no official confirmation has been made in this regard so far. On the other hand, Ankit is currently seen playing the lead in Junooniyatt along with Gautam Vig and Neha Rana.
