From rumours about Pranali Rathod-Harshad Chopda leaving YRKKH to the introduction of new cast at Star Parivaar Awards 2023, the show has remained in the headlines since the past two months.

He must have chalked out a proper plan for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, if it is taking a leap. While the production house would love to work with Tejasswi and Fahmaan, I think new faces will be auditioned for the lead roles. There's no doubt that Fahmaan Khan and Tejasswi Prakash are wonderful actors, who bring their own fan following but I think the chances of them featuring in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai are bleak," our khabri said.

Helly Shah is also not doing the show as she had denied the buzz online. "Helly Shah is not doing Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Yes, she was approached for the serial but she is busy with new projects and hence, won't be able to take up a longtime fiction show. She would suit the bill perfectly but the makers are now looking for a fresh face for YRKKH," a source told Filmibeat.

After weeks of speculation, producer Rajan Shahi broke his silence and confirmed that a new season of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is on the cards. This is the first time, the ace producer spoke about the leap in the serial. While he didn't talk about Pranali Rathod and Harshad Chopda's exit from the serial, he confirmed that a veteran actress will be entering the show following the leap.

Rajan Shahi spilled the beans on the new entry, revealing that Anita Raja will be seen in a pivotal role in the serial. His interview was enough to confirm that Pranali Rathod and Harshad Chopda are making an exit from the serial.

Harshad, who plays the role of Abhimanyu, is expected to shoot for his last episode on October 30. Abhimanyu will die in a car accident with Abhir. Akshara will also meet with a tragic end after giving birth to a baby girl.
