‘Itna Late Kyun Bol Rahi Hai’: Rakhi Sawant Calls Out ‘Friend’ Priyanka Chopra For Her ‘Cornered’ Remark

Priyanka Chopra's statement against Bollywood has created ripples in the Hindi film industry. During a Hollywood podcast, the global icon revealed that she was being 'cornered' by the people of Bollywood. In an interview with Dax Shepherd, PeeCee said she was forced to leave India as she was not getting good work and also that she was tired of politics.

Since the interview, several other b-town celebrities offered their support to the actress and even spoke about the dirty truths of the Hindi cinema industry.

The latest to join the bandwagon of celebs is Rakhi Sawant. The controversy queen known for her unfiltered statements called out the Dil Dhadakne Do actress for speaking too late about the issue.

RAKHI SAWANT CALLS OUT PRIYANKA CHOPRA FOR SPEAKING TOO LATE

During an interaction with media, Rakhi said, "Priyanka Chopra itna late kyun bol rahi hai? Pehle jab wo itni sari filmein karti thi tab kyu nahi boli." Frankly speaking main kisi ka sathh na dekar, neutral baat karungi. I love Priyanka, she's my friend, unki mom bhi humari friend hain. To jab unhone itne sari filmein kari, inte awards liye, Pinga Pinga gaana kiya, itne saare filmein kiye tabhi unhone kuch kyun nahi bola. Aaj wo US mein ja kar bas gayi hai, tab kyu ye bol rahi hai? Kyun kisi ko badnaam karna?"

While Rakhi brought a different angle to Priyanka's story, she received support from several celebs including Kangana Ranaut, Vivek Agnihotri, Meera Chopra, and Apurva Asrani among others.

KANGANA RANAUT'S REACTION TO PRIYANKA CHOPRA'S STATEMENT

Reacting to Priyanka's statements, Kangana tweeted, "This is what ⁦@priyankachopra⁩ has to say about bollywood, people ganged up on her, bullied her and chased her out of film industry" a self made woman was made to leave India. Everyone knows Karan Johar had banned her."

She further added, "Media wrote extensively about her fall out with Karan Johar because of her friendship with SRK and movie mafia Cruella who is always looking for vulnerable outsiders saw a perfect punching bag in PC and went all out in harassing her to a point where she had to leave India."

Meanwhile, Rakhi Sawant is the first confirmed contestant of Kangana Ranaut's Lock Upp 2. She was last featured in the music video, 'Jhootha'. The song was choreographed by Mudassar Khan. The story of the music video was based on the troubles of Rakhi and her husband, Adil Khan Durrani.
