Rakhi Sawant's Husband Adil Stands By Her Side During Mom Jaya Bheda's Last Rites, Rashami Desai Joins

Controversy queen Rakhi Sawant, who is always there to entertain her fans and keeps bringing a smile to their faces, has been going through a tough phase in her life. She is grief-stricken over the death of her mother, Jaya Bheda, who passed away after a prolonged battle with brain cancer. Rakhi's mother breathed her last on Saturday at the Dr RN Cooper Municipal General Hospital in Mumbai.

Rakhi Sawant's mother, Jaya Bheda, was hospitalised for the longest time, and on Sunday night her condition worsened, after which she was declared dead at the age of 73. She passed away at 9 p.m. on Saturday. Speaking about her death, Deepak Namjoshi, a pulmonologist and director of CritiCare Asia Multispecialty Hospital & Research Center, told PTI, "Rakhi Sawant's mother had stage four endometrial cancer which had spread to the brain, lungs and liver. She was admitted around a fortnight ago. She was earlier treated at another hospital and later referred here."

On Saturday, an emotional Rakhi took to Instagram and said, ""Aaj meri maa ka haat sar se uth gaya or mere pass khone ke liye kuch nahi bacha. I love you MAA. Aap ke bina kuch nahi raha, ab kaun meri pukar sunega or kaun mujhe gale lagayega maa. Ab mai kya karu... kaha jauuuu... I miss you Aai."

Meanwhile, on Sunday, Rakhi was seen with her husband at Dr RN Cooper Municipal General Hospital in Mumbai, where they took care of the arrangements for Jaya Bheda's final rites. Rakhi's mother has been buried at the Oshiwara Christian Graveyard in Mumbai. Actress Rashmi Desai was also spotted arriving at Rakhi Sawant's residence to pay her final tribute to Jaya Bheda. She was seen consoling Rakhi.

JAYA BHEDA'S LAST RITES

Rakhi Sawant's mother's final rites were performed according to Christian rituals, which were held at noon on Sunday at the Municipal Christian Cemetery in Mumbai. In an official statement, Rakhi said, "With deep sorrow, I, Rakhi Sawant, inform you (about) the sudden death of my beloved mother. Many of you know that she was suffering from some medical conditions... I'm sad to say that she is gone... join us for the funeral service of my mother at 12:00 afternoon."
